I have just had my first consultation appointment at house of skincare and have been blown away by my experience. Lorraine was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming as soon as you step foot in the door.
Having never had a skincare routine before, I was rather apprehensive that it would be a bit of an information overload and lots of hard selling, I was completely and utterly wrong! Alexis has an enormous wealth of knowledge in skincare which she was able to articulate to give me a better understanding of what my skin needs and why, without making me feel overwhelmed. I feel that I truly learnt so much about my own skin in just an hour and have left feeling incredibly positive and excited about my journey moving forward with house of skin.
Thank you both for making my experience so enjoyable, I can’t wait to come back already!

Beautiful set up at house of skincare and a very friendly welcome from the team.
I had a skin consultation with Elle and found it to be really helpful and informative, learning about my skin. The skin products that were recommended have definitely made a difference already only a few weeks in. I was at a point of feeling quite overwhelmed and desperate trying various different products and wasting money. I’d really recommend getting in touch with house of skincare and putting your money into products and support that helps your skin and gives you confidence that the products will make a difference. I have absolutely loved my laser experience with Elle, she has made me feel so comfortable! She is great at educating me about it too! In terms of the laser itself… I absolutely LOVE the difference it’s made! Not only has it reduced my hair growth massively but it’s smoothed areas and helped with some discolouration that I had on my underarms. It’s given me so much more confidence, and yes it does NOT hurt! Thank you Elle and the HOS team!

If you are going to get any laser hair removal done then the house of skincare is where you need to be visiting. All the ladies are so welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back for my next session already.

I visited HOS twice this summer. My first visit was for an eyebrow wax, and in a casual conversation about my milia, Elé (sorry if I've misspelt!) very kindly offered to remove them for me at a very reasonable cost of £15. I was thrilled with the results, and also amazed that this was even possible as I'd had milia for years. I decided that I would return for a beauty appointment before my wedding.
In my next appointment, I got my brows and neck waxed, a few more blackheads and milia removed, and I got dermaplaned for the first time. I was so smooth and glowy afterwards, and Elé did an amazing job on my eyebrows.
Milia removal was uncomfortable, perhaps verging on painful, but 10000% worth it for the result and I will absolutely come back for this.
Elé shared her broad knowledge on the science of skincare, and gave me some tips and explained why certain things happen to my skin. All her explanations were provided in an informative and friendly way, and I was not at any point made to feel judged for not taking care of my skin, or having a hairy neck haha. I was also not cornered into purchasing products or services I wasn't interested in.
Dermaplaning made my skin feel fabulous, but in all honesty I wouldn't get it again - my only reason for this is because I sweat a lot, and rather than evaporating off those very useful little hairs, the sweat just streamed down my face. I'm autistic and have some sensory issues so maybe I was more uncomfortable than other folks get. If you do enjoy dermaplaning and you're looking for an aesthetician who will do a great job, I wholeheartedly recommend Elé at HOS.
If you require a bespoke skincare treatment provided by experts who will make you feel welcome, come to House of Skincare and talk to the friendly staff and they will sort you out. I can't say if it's reasonably priced or not because I've never paid for skincare before, but I was charged £70ish for expert treatment before the biggest day of my life so in my eyes it was worth every penny.
Everything about my experience was perfect.

My laser hair removal journey at HOS has been nothing but WORTH IT!! I have been seeing Ellé for a course of lip and chin laser hair removal and even after the first session i have noticed a significant improvement in my hair re growth. The whole process is super comfortable and 100% pain free!! Ellé is always very reassuring and talks through every single step so that you’re aware of what’s going on. I’m really looking forward to the final result and feeling even more confident in my skin than I already do.
