How many treatments are required?
It will depend on how many require treatment. Some that have been there a little longer may require more than 1 treatment. It all comes down to the products you use on your face following treatment as to how long the results last. All of which is discussed at consultation.
Does it hurt?
There is a heat sensation that occurs, which in some areas can be more sensitive than others, although thorough aftercare advice is given to ensure it’s as comfortable as possible.
What causes them to appear?
Milia are hard lumps of oil that are trapped within the pores. They can be caused by certain ingredients within products that you put on your skin such as skincare and makeup or quite simply sweating and not cleaning the skin effectively enough!
Is there any downtime?
There will be a little redness if anything, but this will subside following the aftercare advice given after the treatment.
