All consultations at House of Skincare can be performed virtually via the Zoom app or face-to-face within the clinic in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot, near Exeter, South Devon. All clients must have a consultation before any treatment takes place.
Our consultations are designed to talk in-depth regarding your skin concerns. Medical grade product recommendations are included alongside a treatment plan to be able to maintain healthy skin longterm.

You will be taken through an in-depth analysis of your skin where we take photos within the SkinObserv which allows us to tailor a product and treatment plan to suit your concerns.
3. Following your consultation
You will then have a written report sent to you which includes how to use your new routine, top tips and what to expect at your next visit.

As well as face-to-face consultations, we also offer extensive virtual skin consultations allowing you to receive all of the expertise of our experienced skin therapists in the comfort of your own home or space.
Prior to your virtual skin consultation you shall receive consultation forms to fill in to allow us to prepare recommendations and analysis. If possible, pictures of your skin that you are looking to treat helps us to provide an exceptional level of care.

How do Virtual Skin Consultations work?
Once you have made your virtual consultation booking, you will be sent a pre consultation questionnaire to help us find out about your health, well-being, lifestyle, hormones, diet and skincare which will enable me to focus our time together and get a clear picture for you.
Your initial 1 hour consultation will be carried out via zoom (a link will be sent just before your appointment time begins) We will discuss all your key concerns and questions during the call, with a bespoke plan and notes sent following this too.
This option is much more than just a skincare chat!
How long is a Virtual Skin Consultation?
Virtual skin consultations are around 1 hour and are designed to provide an in-depth analysis of your skin at your convenience. This provides us enough time to go into detail and provide recommendations while also allowing you to fit it into your schedule, wherever you may be.
Do you need to see my skin in person?
The simple answer is no, we have seen and treated thousands of faces over the years. Our clinical experience along with an in-depth discussion with you means we understand potential triggers and concerns. What we see visibly is only part of the picture!
Will I be sent any follow-up notes?
Yes! Following your virtual consultation, a summary and plan will be sent covering all of the key points highlighted during the session. Alongside any relevant links, advice, next steps and product recommendations.
What if I want to purchase the recommended skincare products?
That’s simple, we can get you set up with our online clinic portal which can deliver clinical skincare globally. This is essentially an online skincare product prescription, at your fingertips, wherever you have an internet connection.
Do you offer online follow-up appointments?
Certainly! You can book a 30 minute review at anytime.
The cost for follow-up appointments is £30 for a online review.
Will I need to send pictures of my skin before my consultation?
Yes, this will help us to get a head-start on our preparation for your virtual consultation.
