Millia Removal.

Millia are a collection of small white spots commonly known as milk spots. While they aren't a medical risk, many people with millia would prefer to remove them, which is possible with clinic treatment. In some cases, we can remove them with just a sterile needle while having a deep cleansing facial, Other times we may suggest a form of removal using our electrolysis method. Either method is very safe and should not cause any trauma to the skin. If there is a collection of them built up it can be down to products that you’re using on your skin and so a consultation facial is recommended to book to be able to cater to your needs.

It will depend on how many require treatment. Some that have been there a little longer may require more than 1 treatment. It all comes down to the products you use on your face following treatment as to how long the results last. All of which is discussed at consultation.

There is a heat sensation that occurs, which in some areas can be more sensitive than others, although thorough aftercare advice is given to ensure it’s as comfortable as possible.

Millia are hard lumps of oil that are trapped within the pores. They can be caused by certain ingredients within products that you put on your skin such as skincare and makeup or quite simply sweating and not cleaning the skin effectively enough!

There will be a little redness if anything, but this will subside following the aftercare advice given after the treatment.
